what to wear

Hi, this year im taking my mare and foal to a show. Its a first for them and a first for me. She is a connemara so therefore M&M. But I have no idea what to wear. I know about the dark leg thing so I wear light.. I also have someone helping me show. So dont want to spend too much money as have to buy it twice. Also as the weather is roasting at the minute I was thinking no jackets (as I dont have one). Would that be possible? And what would I wear? Please help as running out of time. Show is the 31st. Thank you so much.

Depends on how posh the show is but I think if not wearing a jacket a waistcoat is normal? For OH's hacking jacket we found a great bargain in a charity shop, lovely old tweed so, for bits that don't have to 'match' between the two of you (e.g. you could both wear similar trousers but with toning tweeds?) that might be something to look out for.

What colour shirt and tie would we wear? Was thinking yellow/beige breeches. Would that be right?
