I've got an interview for a job as a groom on a jumping yard, I've never had an interview for an equine job before I've just always gotten them by taking lessons at the yard.
What should I wear?
Jodhpurs, jodhpur boots, generally look smart in a horsey way. Clean and tidy with no excessive jewellery or makeup. Have your riding hat and whip in the car in case they ask you to ride but not carried with you in case it looks like you are expecting to ride. That is what I did when I went for a groom job on a yard and I was unsure if it was a job which included riding or not. I was not asked to ride at interview although it turned out riding was included in the job and I did get the job. Good luck
