hi, 5 weeks ago i purchased a 16.3 event horse he passed his 5 stage vetting and all was well - after 2 weeks he was not comfortable in trot showing lame in his left hind now 6 weeks on he is in a bad way! do i have a hope of getting any help from the vet for the 5 stage ?

Im sure you've already had your vet out to assess your horse. Your next step is to get the bloods from the vetting done.

However, remember the vetting merely assess the horse on the day.

As he has been lame for 6 weeks what is the diagnosis?

Firstly what is wrong with him?
As he's been lame for a long time so I assume your vet has been .
What does he say ?
Is the lameness acute ie caused by asomething that's happened since you bought the horse or chronic and was OT missed at the vetting ?
Really only a vet can answer your question.
