so my question is what treatment do you choose for your horses back and well being ?
IE chiropractor / physio / Bowen therapy etc etc. what are your opinions, results and recommendations. friends have given me opposite opinions thanks for help not a problem as such just getting saddle checked and want him checked over bit of a MOT lol

I've used various different people (physios, reiki, manipulation etc), on my horse who used to have a lot of probs through her back but have found that they could never get to the bottom of her issues although the manipulations did help her improve!.
I now use a massage therapist from sussex on her and i have an almost totally different horse! It's taken her 3 treatments so far (6 weeks between first two and 4 weeks between the second and third which was beginning of April) and the improvement is really very noticeable. So now she would be my first choice with any problem, I would very highly recommend her to anyone!!

oh cool so is that what she is a massage therapist thank you so much for answering its very helpful. its so confusing and dont fancy trying them all everyone says something different

Basically yeah! This is her website if your interested:

I know what you mean though i've had at least 3 people look at mine before and they all said something slightly different but none seemed to actually get to the problem let alone help to improve it!!
First massage session she had the lady couldn't really find the problem as it turned her muscles were completely blocked all over her body but lady worked for a good hour and showed me loads of exercises to do every day and then the second session she could get in and found the problem!!
