I am off to the Southern Counties Show at Plumpton Race course in June and am just filling out my entry form.
These are the inhand classes:-

Open Hunter inhand 1,2 and 3 year olds
Open riding horse inhand 1,2 and 3 year olds
Inhand competition sport / potential dressage horse 1,2 and 3 years olds

And this is Alee she is a 3 year old Selle Francais

Also these classes are affiliated to P(UK) and I have been told that you can enter theses classes when not a member but if you eligable for a qualifier you need to become a member within 7 days. Does this sound correct?

Yes, that's sounds correct for P(UK)

For me her type depends on her height and how she moves (she doesn't scream on or the riding horse or hunter) - how big is she? and how does she move?

How many classes do you want to do?

For PUK if you're not a member and want to be eligible to qualify for the Championships I think you have to have a 'Ticket to Qualify' first (which costs £10), then if you qualify you have to become a member for the Championships. If you just want to enter the class and aren't bothered about the Championships you can enter without a ticket or membership.

I'm pretty sure those are the rules unless they've changed them from last year but it's worth checking on the PUK website.

She is currently just over 16hh and when trotting out well (providing I kepp up with her) she has lovely floaty paces.
I really only want to do 2 classes if there are 2 I can enter. But if not 1 would be fine.
