What type of saddle do you use for general schooling?

The same saddle I use for everything! I have an Ideal VSD which I use for schooling, hacking, dressage, showing, jumping, etc! Can't afford to have more than one saddle, plus I don't compete to a high enough level.

Just bought a treeless dressage saddle that I use now for schooling and sometimes hacking (only wear it 2-3 times a week).

I used to school and do dressage tests in my albion K2 jumping saddle - which wasn't particularly helpful, plus it gives me a sore back to flatwork school in, but not jumping

jumping saddle for both of mine cos 1. i can't afford more than one saddle per horse and they are sjers anyway and 2. i prefer riding in jumping saddles

Harry Dabbs dressage saddle for flat schooling and must admit I hack out in it if I'm too lazy to change the stirrups over to my GP (I have short legs so I don't need different leathers!). Sometimes school in my Wintec GP and do anything higher than poles in that too.

Thanks!

Just trying to make the "what saddle(s) to buy" decision. I think my saddler is bringing a lorry load, so I'd like to have a fairly rounded idea, and I wondered if other people used a special dressage-y saddle for schooling, which they do, which is very helpful!

Aiming for a VSD for schooling/hacking (as I doubt I'll need a dressage ever).

I use my collegiate jumping saddle for everything, unless i know that i am defo going to do dressage in which case i then use my ideal dressage saddle
