What was your best e-Bay bargain of 2011?

I got Heiniger Delta clippers back in the summer, two sets of blades both sharp but the power cable had been cut through with the clippers and stuck back together with insulation tape. Paid £35 and they worked so took them to a local clipper repair/blade sharpening place, had them serviced, cable changed and got a storage box thrown in for £38! Now have good as new heavy duty clippers which work a treat!

Love Ebay!

a G reg Volvo FL6 18 ton 6 horse lorry with all the gubbins for £3,200... there were others bidding on it like mad, but we were the only people to actually go and see it (at some major show jumpers yard!), they just wanted rid, we made a silly offer and hand shake done. Bloody best buy ever, chassis was in fantastic nick, just needed a bit of refurb in horse area... we would never have been able to afford this lorry private sale they tend to sell for about £15,000 plus (check my profile for pic's) hubby and me were / are made up!

Silk top hat for side saddle - usually cost £300 - bought mine for £65 off a man in holland. exactly what I needed - crown height and everything - very chuffed.

The only downside is that I am against riding without a suitable hat so have only used it once so far for approx 10mins! ah well, was a nice ten minutes :D
