What weight can a haffy/fjord carry?

Just interested for my sister, shes 5'8 and 10 stone.

I wouldnt think a Fjord or a haffy would have trouble carrying 10stone

A breed like that was bred to pull or carry HUGE weights, 10 stone would be nothing.

I have a 15.1hh Haffy, he carries my 14 stone husband with no problem at all.

The haffies and fjord I've known hardly seem to have weight limits - my boss imports them so we have a few come through the yard. They are tough as nails and like hard work. Seen a 14.2hh fjord carry a 15st beginner man without any trouble at all. Some of the smaller versions of the breeds are a bit finer but I've not met one yet that would struggle with 10stone.

I used to have 2 of each at a RDA centre and they were fantastic and never looked uncomfortable carrying up to 13 stone

the RDA i worked at had 2 haffys and 2 fjords (now have 3) because they can carry the weight the vet came out and told them that if there 14yo 14.2hh haffy wasnt doing as much work she would have no problems carrying 18 stone (rip) not that they ever tried it but these to types of horses are like tanks and wont even feel 10 stone

I used to ride a Fjord & 10 stone would have felt like nothing to him. I was just over 11 stone at the time & he was jumping XC & everything no problem at all. They're excellent weight carriers. Mine was actually built like a tank, neck & hindquarters were solid muscle.
