A friend has recently bought a very nice, fairly fine 10 y/o 13hh NF mare.
She weighs 9 1/2 stone and is approx 5'6"
The pony is predominantly for her children, but what kind of workload do you think the pony would happily manage with her.
She is just very lightly hacking the mare as she is unfit at the moment. I'm talking 15 mins walking a day on a good surface with no real hills.
Does anyone have any experience of these kind of situations? What could the mare be reasonably expected to do?
Thanks!
