What width is this saddle? *pictures

Numpty post here, was sold this saddle as a medium/wide but was then told it would this a more TB build of horse.

What would you describe it as? Thank you

I would consider it to be a medium to possibly medium/wide. I tend to class 8" across the top of the d rings and 4" accross gullet stuffing as medium, 9" as Med/wide and 10" as wide and 11" as extra wide.

I woudnt consider that a medium wide! From your measurements thats only 4inches between the stuffing. My Wide saddle has 7inches between the panels and my wed/wide saddle (which doesnt fit him has 5.5inches) That looks more like a standard medium.

The measurement between the D's is a very bad/unreliable/useless way of measuring the width of a saddle. I honestly have no idea why people use it when selling/buying saddles.

I have a very high Withered TB and his saddle is a Medium Wide so I'm not sure breed it could fit can be an indication of width

I agree there are much better ways but I can see why it is tempting - obviously getting a fitter out is the most reliable way, but cutting out a rigid template of your horse and sending it to a vendor, or asking them to try and take a template of their saddle and send to you, is all rather tricky.
