what wormer would you use?

Hi everyone,

just wobdered which wormer you would use for this time of year?

For tapeworm (normally Oct) either double Strongid or Pyratape P...or similar.
For small redworm/bots etc, moxidectin.

Eqvalan Duo or Equest Pramox. As Shilasdair says, it's the time of year to dose for tapeworm as well.

When you double dose with Strongid for tspe worm, are both doses given together or one at a time a few days apart?

Both together. Although there is a wormer (Equimax I think) where you can single dose for tapeworm.

As Gigglepig says.
You have to do the dose together or it doesn't work.

I would definitely use Pramox. Covers all types of encycsted worms as well as tapeworm. Use it after the first frosts was the advice Fort Dodge who manufacture it gave to me.
