Say hello to my new mare Tilly shes approx 14.2hh Gypsy Cob mare, im looking to put her in foal this year, but have a lack of potential boyfriends!

Ideally id keep the foal as something bigger for me to do abit of dressage and SJ. So i was thinking along the lines of putting her to a TB or 3/4 coloured TB to produce a nice sized foal.

What do you guys think? Can anyone advise me of some nice potential boyfriends??

Thanks

Not the best of photos but it give you the idea

Has anyone got nice pics of TB/Cobs.....sorry, I only ask as the only one's I've seen in real life have been a bit odd looking (small bodies and big heads) but I'm sure they're not all like that!

How about something a bit chunkier - warm blood? Jenny LC is just aorund the corner from you! haa haa xx

Hey, I live in Andover as well! I would say come and meet my piebald cob Clyde, but he doesn't have the whatsits to oblige. Jenny Loriston Clarke has some beooootiful stallions and she's just down the road!

What sort of stud fee you looking to pay? I think a warmblood possibly would be best, or some sort of sport horse. Irish may be?

My boy is an American Pacer x traddy cob, and he's turned out fab!!

I think the key to successful breeding is to make a little change at a time..if you go for a TB hoping to get some of the height and lightness you can be sure you will breed a barrel with skinny TB legs

so i would go for a larger horse with bone, but not too different in shape, so WB would be ideal, ID or even Cleveland Bay..don't worry about the sire being bigger - they only grow as big as the mare can accomodate until they are born

how about Treliver Decanter - he's throwing superb foals and is a warmblood sports horse stallion and would definitely add size and dressage movement

If you went for a nice stocky Irish TB you might get something nice out actually.....if you go for a wb then I'd be inclined to choose something that hasn't got the warmblood bighead effect going on - prepares to be flamed! ha x

Hi! He's £350 nffr and AI is available. I have used Gemini several times and would trust Nicki with any of my horses if that helps! I nearly used Romarnic Ranger this time but something else came up.
Did you get onto the page with 3 pic's of the stallions, their names on the left, cos if you did, you just have to click on their names which gives you another 3 options; breeding, Info and gallery.
If you google it, it should take you there properly. Otherwise, try the CHAPS or BSPA sites, he's on one of those I know.

I LOVE YOU

Bounces around the room someone is coming around to my way of thinking - A Cleveland Bay stallion is the best!!
