A 'friend' and I have the same RI. She's a good rider and she knows it but she loves to be the center of attention and it always trying to get people to say how good she is. RI is the kind of person to say well done if you do it well and try harder of you get it wrong - she's a fab teacher and really knows her stuff.
The thing is this 'friend' is now slagging RI off on facebook and another forum saying how rubbish she is, how she's outdated, she has bad horses etc and it's all because RI won't pander to her every 5 mins!!!
RI taught this woman to ride and used to look after her when her parents were away so she looks on her as family. If she finds out she'll be heart broken so I don't want to say anything to her. I mentioned it to this woman and she denied it then blocked me on the forum grrr

There are some impressionable young riders at the yard and this woman is filling their head with nonsense and now they are all slagging RI off on the forum

I don't want this to damage RI's reputation as she is really good - she's been doing it for over forty years now and is the font of all knowledge and an excellent rider but this woman seems determined to prove herself to be better somehow...
Do I tell RI and be done with it or keep on at this woman and get her to stop? I really don't know what to do

Honestly???Stay out of it!!!I am sure your RI will find the source of any rumours!!!If she is as good as you say she is this will not affect her rep at all!!

Just keep singing her praises and enjoying your lessons!!Dont even be seen as wanting to associate with this other girl if i were you!!!

That's the prob - RI is great but she doesn't tell this woman that she is fab every 5 mins like she wants to hear, plus RI saw her riding without a hat last week and went mental at her (rightly so imo) but this woman is becoming a nightmare... Sadly she's young, pretty and a good rider so all the younger girls want to be like her grrrr
