Short boots and chaps if you are starting out. Long boots are only really comfortable if you have quality ones which fit properly, and that is much more expensive, plus they need wearing in. Have fun!

My OH happily goes down to the Co-op in his breeches and we've both popped into a supermarket on the way back from hunting with boots, breeches and stock under a sweater.

Moore Equestrian specialises in men’s equestrian - https://moore-eq.com/

Loads of photos and models to have a look at.

Though most I know wear black jackets, mark todd men’s breeches, white competition shirt, white tie and black boots.

Troll? Fetishist? Or just a very anxious newbie rider who is not sure of the 'form' re riding clothes in public places.

If the latter - basically anything goes! I have a fetching pair of waterproof black jodhs. Very BDSM. I wear those anywhere. Also I have been known to pop to Tesco on the way home from the yard covered in muck and straw, trailing mud from my boots all down the aisles. Especially fun after cleaning under rubber matting. Horse riders are shameless. And no there won't be pics.

It is ok. But 6 threads along the same theme with a push towards trying to get people talking about wearing riding clothes "in public" and being "embarrassed" is more than a little odd.

OP you do seem somewhat obsessed. you've posted 6 threads about mens equestrian clothing, often with very little detail at all, all the answers to which are easily found on google . you've not participated in any other threads and when you do reply to peoples comments on your threads you are either extremely curt or down right rude.

People are understandably wary as this is fairly classic behavior for trolls and as a Equine forum we are unfortunately subject to more than our fair share of trolls.
