What would you change for your horse?

If you could change an element of your horses current management or care, what would it be?
I ask this because people seem to be quite restricted on these yards as to what they can and can't do with their horses management. And people always seem to be wishing they were on better yards for one reason or another.
I am lucky as I rent a field and have a mobile field stable so I can do what I want with my horse to ensure he is happy.

i would like the option of 24/7 turnout, but then i had that before i moved and so many other things didnt suit that i swapped this for alot of other, more important factors.

I always went for the quality of grazing and a nice looking yard, had that previous and it was lacking in sooo many other areas(hacking rubbish, people turned out to have strange personalities, lol,) i have now not so much grazing but quality yard and fantastic people(have finally realised that grass coming out of ya ears does not compensate for all the other things that you and your horse need for enjoyment!!)

I'd make everyone else stay in at night so he doesn't have to be on his own

Failing that I'd like to keep my other horse there instead of at home but for free....

i'd have a huge hill for galloping, about a mile away, owned by a friendly farmer who only wanted a bottle of wine a year for me to use it!
other than that, i'm very lucky cos i keep mine at home and bring them in and out as i (and they!) choose, and the hacking's lovely and quiet. gallops are the only thing missing really.
oh, i'd quite like to have my own private parkland with 5 BE standard training courses right next door, of course.

The only thing I would like to change about our yard is Id love to have individual turn out! That was all the lazy buggars who dont poo pick and fill up water would have to do for their own horses!

O and Id make the livery bills £0 each month!

Neit nada not a thing, acutally I fib I wish there were more of road hacking but that's something that's not under the YO's control and we're in an area that's notoriously bad for it.

Nothing. My horse is managed entirely as I want - with no interference, or restriction.

It was the same at my previous yard.

i would like the idea of a lovely sandschool at the yard with an experienced instructor on hand when ever i want so i could start to compete.

I'd like more winter turnout, only have 1 acre at the mo but better than nothing. Also would love a school for those winter nights when I can't ride out but otherwise my horse and I are happy enough!
