OK, as per the title what would you charge/expect to pay for this sort of livery;

* location- Welsh/Shropshire boarders
* DIY
* small private yard
* own stable (brick)
* secure tackroom
* possibility of own storage area (I just need to clear it out :p )
* all year turnout on good grazing with lovely fencing
* outdoor menage
* set of four show jumps (I'm slowly getting more, aiming for a set of ten)
* fantastic hacking
* hay and straw not inclued (but I can order some for the livery when I order mine, they just need to pay the farmer for their share)

So what do you think?

Im not sure about your area at all but up at uni (notts/leics border) around £20p/w dependant on the size of stable, school (floodlit/surface etc). Down here (Watford) around £25-£35p/w :)

The menage is 20x40, sand surface.

The stable would be fine for a pony or horse up to 16hh (my 15.3 is fine in it but a big 16.2 warmblood would be tight).

I have googled and searched for livery yard prices in my area and have got nowhere. :(

Plus would you charge more or less for the same livery if you were on a private yard V's a large livery yard?

Hello,

I paid £20 p/w for DIY on a private yard in Market Drayton which included

12x12 stable, 24/7 turnout in summer and day turnout in the winter. Large rubber school, a few x-country jumps in the field (nothing posh!!) and approx 10 show jumps, loads of hacking and only a 5 min hack to a 3 mile gallops track. Parking for my trailer, Tack/feed room. Water & electric, Storage for my hay and shavings. We all bought our feed and shavings etc at the same time to get a discount and save on delivery. They had an area for drying rugs.
There 5 horses in total, there were 3 of us and the owners 2 horses so it was very quiet and sometimes a bit boring as i could go days without seeing anyone due to working hours etc.
I would love to move back to a small private yard but i need someone to provide services due to work so i had to move to a larger livery yard.
However, i only pay £30 p/w and that includes either a turnout or bring in and a rug change. I have access to a large indoor school, outdoor school, lunging school, Jumping paddock, x-country course, 250 acres of off road hacking, across the road a 8 mile fun ride with jumps, a short hack to all weather gallops, 24/7 turnout, Hay, Haylege and Straw delivered to you each week. A brew room, showers & toilet. Secure tack and feed room. Parking for my lorry and an on site instructor based in South Cheshire.
