For a second hand wintec 2000 with cair and a couple of gullets, 17.5 inches, this is absolutely not advertising, but Ive had an enquiry and I was thinking about £225-£250, does this seem reasonable?

I don't know, Queenbee - from my experience they don't sell too well. We advertised a Wintec wide for £250 and didn't have 1 call. A smaller market, I know, but the 2000s seem pretty popular, so lots out there.

Try your price and be prepared to reduce it, I guess - different time, different market, who knows?

bleeding hell, I've always known them to hold their price fairly well :(. certainly won't be selling it for peanuts, may have someone want to pay out for it:rolleyes: If not it will collect dust :D

I brought a 6 month old flocked winter 2000 i think for £50 fab condition. Appears i was very lucky. Judging by Facebook sites selling £150 is reasonable but still takes time.

mine is for sale for £80 and struggling to sell ( although not tried too hard ) - average condition but only worn no actual damage.

New ones are so cheap these days!!

I sold a 500 for £175 recently. Although 7 years old it was very lightly used. Your saddle is worth what someone will pay for it so why not try it at your preferred price - people will haggle.

Exactly, I'm willing to let them haggle me to 200, but no further, I know it's sentimental but it was ebonys first saddle, if I don't sell it, it's no hardship and I'm sure I will find a use for it one day, I was also chuckling as I advertised a brand new Jeffries show bridle from their traditional range with reins, never even got to try it on her, these would be £140 new, so someone asked what I wanted for it, I said £100, she said it was too much.... I'm not selling these as a charity for other people! Lol. If the stuff sells, it sells, if not, hey ho!
