What would you compromise on to keep horse prices lower.....

Lots of useful ideas...

The next horse is meant to end up as a sort of family horse. The girls will be off and 3 will become 2. Dolly will be too small for everyone, so the idea is I run 2 and the girls can ride when they are home - which is 20 weeks of the year. At least until home becomes too boring. But I'd like 2 anyway so eventually they would both just be ridden and competed by me. But the priority is finding one now for Izzy so if the right one came along that for any reason would not suit the 'master plan' then we'd forget about the family horse and just focus on what is right now. But as we both want to event at 90 and maybe 100 and we both like safe, sane horses then we should be able to find one we both enjoy riding.

Reacher he looks amazing but he is on preloved and is not priced the way a horse as good as he looks should be I don't think...... So my suspicious nature has taken over and I don;t trust this one at all. The line "I feel he would take the mick out of someone less experienced" suggests to me that he already frequently does 'take the mick' which is also a phrase that screams nappy horror, or dirty stopper or, bucker or buggerer offer to me! And a phrase that suggests they are seeking to be able to blame future problems on the rider and not the horse.

But maybe I am being too cynical.

I am off on holiday on Friday and will be looking in earnest when we get back. Feel free to let me know of anything that looks like it might be suitable. Especially if it's horse you actually know!
