when it finally arrived, about 2 weeks after paying for it, it was in a box with no protective packaging, ie just a saddle in a cardboard box, which was open by the way as the seller had only used about 3 pieces of tape to secure it, and the sadlle looked like it has had a good battering in transit!

Scratched more used than advertised, and also doesnt include the extra gullet as advertised?

The saddle itself seems ok, I have a question about the CAIR which I will ask in another thread, but Im peed as I did a buy it now on THIS saddle because it was advertised as having no wear, which it clearly has.

Go and query the seller, they may be able to come to some arrangement.

If the seller is not going to help, the only option is to leave bad feedback, but I would query them first.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

I would email the seller and ask for my money back.
Take good clear photos of the saddle, packaging etc, and send them with the email. If seller agrees send the saddle back with a courier, and job done.

If they don't agree, take it up with ebay and paypal. Use your photos and their description as evidence.

Thanks, I would be happy with a partial refund, the saddle is in 'good' condition, but does have a lot more wear than advertised, I only want it for hacking and a bit of jumping, Im just a bit peed that I paid £25 postage and it took him 2 weeks to send AND it wasnt properly packaged!

And of course I could have got the saddle cheaper on ebay, I paid more because it had 'no wear' .

Ho hum, will have to contact seller I guess, ebay is great but things like this do my head in!

And it was dirty, why dont people clean things these days!
LOL Im like a whinging fishwife today!
