forgot to say, mine is ish x tb.....so typical irish again!

Situation normal
Take him hacking, take him hunting, and then turn him away.
It's a baby, and he really won't understand the concept of going away from the leg - using a stick is not the answer nor is spurs.
Over the Christams break friends youngster was taken up to the event rider that competes her horses. Horse is rising 5 and green as hell. Pony club kicks sent the horse forward then rider sat quietly - no stick used and certainly not spurs.
Do you have experience with youngsters???
