What would you do: livery yards

Iv recently left a yard as it had restricted grazing for a yard I thought would be perfect. Dogs aloud, able to graze if and when you want, small yard with help from yard manager. The school rideable but no lights. So since iv been there dogs have been band, the yard owner can't do assisted livery but has got another of the liverys to help with assistance. However she is pregnant so it xabt last forever can it. The school is not rideable at all. Have now been promised new school but no idea how long this will take. And the grazing has been restricted. I understand because it's been crap weather. The only good thing is I'm saving some money. Would you stick it out a bit or try to move back to the old place.iv looked for other yards but there isn't Any local that offer assisted which is what I need. I haven't ridden since as no facilities but the old yard has restricted grazing and costs more. What are you thoughts just feel but fed up and let down there is no such thing as an ideal yard is there?

We don't allow dogs on our yard either.
Lots of yards wont allow dogs

Sounds like you need to look further a field

If you can stick a yard in winter, then it can't be too bad. However, the unrideable school and lack of turnout would be a deal breaker for me.

turn out is better than previous yard but no where to ride where as previous yard had two schools to use.I understand most yards don't allow dogs it's just the fact one minute it's ok the next it's not and it's not just the dogs that she has changed her mind about. it's so hard to know what to do for the best.

Maybe YO found too much dog poo dotted around or trod in some or kids did which is what the sudden ban!!

I would go back to your old place the deal breaker for me would be nowhere to ride and its very hard when yard owners change the goal posts and I Agree with the no dog rule not everyone likes dogs running around

I understand the thing about dogs I guesse Im just annoyed that the rules keep changing and before I moved I kept asking to confirm as I was in a way reluctant to move. It has saved money but now I havent had the chance to really ride. she has been turned out more but to be honest Im not so sure she is bothered.
so its either facilities or turn out I guesse. Just wondered what people would pick and why and why theye are at their current yard now.

I would move re the lack of riding facilities but I wouldnt expect dogs to be allowed to come onto the yard at the new place.
