So you are new to a yard as you have started to share a horse and have clearly been told by sharer it is ok to bring your dogs up. The dogs in question are a 3/4 rottie x 1/4 GSD and a 3/4 GSD x 1/4 Rottie.
Do you
a) keep your dogs under control and introduce them and yourself to the other liveries and dogs
b) see what other liveries do with their dogs - eg keep them on leads, in cars or stables
or
c) just let them run loose around the yard with no apology or any attempt to control them - especially the mainly GSD one that is clearly a bit snarly?
And when asked to control them to stop them jumping up at my gate, scaring the BeJazuss out of a small child, getting in the faces of dogs on leads etc etc do you
a) be mortified at having to be asked and grab hold of them and control them immediately
or
b) laugh and say its ok they are only babies - they are a year old?
Do I live on a different planet or is this unacceptable?
