YO's mum has a 13.2 chestnut mare that she keeps kind of as a pet. She's had people ride her from time to time, but she's not done any work for a year or so. YO's mum wants to take more of a back seat, so she either wants a home for the pony or a sharer of some description.

Really it needs a small adult or teenager, as she's a little sharp apparently. She is in good health, easy to handle, pretty (she has a face like a foal). I'd say she's mid to late teens, but ageing well. Can jump, too, apparently.

YO's mum is not sure about selling her I don't think, but would poss put her on loan, either at present yard where there may not even be a livery charge, or at another yard.

Any ideas on what the best thing for them to do would be? If they want a sharer, where is the best place to advertise? I don;t thin kthey want any money, they just want the pony looking after a few days a week and want it to do some work lol!

Sorry - another long one!

You could advertise her for share/loan in all sorts of magazine - and horsemart. local tack shops are good, because your more likely to get local people which is a plus if they want to share. good luck.

Thanks everyone. I might have a sit on her at the weekend (they haven't got a rider at the mo) and take some pics - see what you all think

I'll tell YO's Mum to put an ad in the tack shop etc as well
