My daughter came home this evening after walking dog in tears and showed me pictures which she had taken on her phone. Two horses both elderly and arab cross. One is showing severe weight loss and poor skin condition with flies & eggs layed in wounds around his belly, the other has very long, twisted feet, hasn't seen a farrier for several years! which must be very uncomfortable. Just been down to the field, no-one around. I don't know if I should try to find the owner tomorow? what to say? or just call the RSPCA?

i'd probably call the ILPH 08000 480180. haven't heard many good things said about the RSPCA.
also as you don't know who owns the horses it might be best to not approach them, i'd leave it to the welfare officers.
