Horse examined by vet 2 weeks ago for snotty nose and weepy eye(bothon the Right hand side) No obvious indicators of cause so gave a strong dose 10 day course of Antibiotics. No obvious change but over the last few days I think it has been better (finished last Sat) Still producing a small amount but in the morning there isnt as much in his stable! Now do I ring the vets today and let them know whats going on or leave a couple of days and see if it gets better or worse as the antibiotics really begin to wear off!? im swaying towards just ringing to keep them informed!

I would phone them. Makes you feel better and keeps them informed, just in case it does get worse again. But i hope it doesnt!

I didn't ring my vet straight back as my horse's nose did seem to increasingly get better. I kept changing her routine to constantly improve dust/spores etc I get kept watching and waiting for signs of improvement.

She's living out now, has been for the last week, and it seems to have dramatically improved. So much so, I think they're going to wonder why on Earth they're coming out to scope and x-ray her today (appointment was booked last week).

Good luck with yours.
