if you'd found the riding school you'd sold your most beloved pony to (15 years ago)? he was about 13 when he went there, so would be about 28 now.

some riding schools do keep them for a long time, and there is a chance he's alive. so, in theory, he may still be there... (very unlikely, i know)

would you ring up and find out what happened to him?
would you secretly hope he was looking for a retirement home and go get him??
or would you just leave it?

thoughts...?

my old shire is in a riding school and ive always said to them when times comes i would go and get him so ring up and found out

Give them a ring, I have recently been in touch with a friend who has a riding school I used 10 years ago, it's amazing how many ponies are still there that I remember.

Call them!

One of the ponies at the riding school where I ride was recently reunited with his old owner, when the little boy who did first ridden classes on him turned up as the new farrier!!!!

The pony is still going strong, teaching lots of children to ride, still winning first ridden classes and considerably older than previously thought!
