What would you do?

Just looking for opinions.

What would you do if you weren't happy with where you kept your horse but your horse was really happy and settled and mixing well with the herd?

Would you move for your sake or stay for theirs?

im in situation that dont like yard for various reasons but my lass is happy and calm and given her sight going and her background moving is not an option - i go up do my lass and go home - she is happy and that is what matters most to me and given every day is a bonus then I can live with that

I don't really know why. I've only been there less then a week and everyone seems really nice and helpful but for some reason it just doesn't feel right. I'm sharing a feild but doing all the work and am already finding myself avoiding going to the yard at certain times just so I can avoid people and be left alone. I'm not happy with the feild really either but horse is happy and I don't want to mess him around.
Gonna give it more time of course. Maybe he's just more settled then me at the moment.

I completely understand that, i'd do the same. But I have a young one just starting out and hopefully he'll be around for a very long time and with me for the rest of his life. Fingers crossed he gets to be an old boy and it seems a very long time for me to be putting up with and not actually enjoying where we are.
