I've just noticed that the livery yard I used to be at 16 years ago and then 4 years ago has some space for diy.
Its a lot closer to home than my current yard and cheaper. The stables, menage and turnout isn't as nice and I don't get on well with one of the liveries at all (long story). The yard I'm at now is a good 25-30 min drive but the stables are fab, the menage is fab, the turnout is great and its also BHS approved.
Currently I am on 7 day assisted diy livery, which with shavings and hay comes in at about £230 a month, this other livery yard would be half the cost.
The other thing is that chester is really settled and in a routine which he loves, the problem is when I start work its going to take me about 45 mins to get to his current yard and its in the opposite direction to home, the other yard would be 10 mins from home and 10 mins from work in the direction I need to be going.
