Just looking for some advice really . My friend is possibly going to have to have her gelding put to sleep tomorrow and she doesn't want her other boy to be left on his own but doesn't want to get another either.
She's asked if I can put my 2 in his field as company. I said yes this morning but now I'm having my doubts.
I've already told her they'd have to be fenced off as my gelding is very protective of his girl . My concerns are 1. The grass has just been topped so is fresher than their current field so would have to have them on a tiny strip 2. My friend is the type of person who would treat them and I have my concerns she'd do it even if told not too 3. Her hubby is the type of person who thinks he knows best and will do as he pleases and I can see him being awkward ( we have many disagreements over the years
I want to help her out and I'm not sure what to do for the best
