What would you do?

I have a carriage now that we are driving donovan, but I am struggling with where to store it! I could leave it on my trailer, but it means I wouldnt be able to drive until OH gets to the yard and pulls the trailer out so I can get the carriage out of the back.
Or I could store it in a barn, chained to the side of a stable, but it would be visable to anyone walking in the barn.
I have asked if I could put a shed up, but thats not possible at the moment, not sure whether or not to push that idea, as my YO has been so good to me.

Could you get a cover made for it? Just thinking they do them for all sorts of things now.

I have already got the cover for it, so it would be covered if chained to the stable, just a bit concerned as it will only need a pair of bolt cutters and it will be gone!

Consider if there is any way of parking your trailer so that you have access to the carriage.

Could you do the barn chain idea but invest in an alarm system for the barn, YO might like that idea too. I wouldnt leave it on the trailer, making it too easy for the low life's.....

You could add a wheel clamp http://www.rowena-moyse.com/for the carriage.htm and get a chain that you can't cut with bolt cutters x if you make it difficult they won't nick it!
