if a relative (auntie in this case) has put an advert up for her horse and you know that the ad is packed full of lies? such as, "always clear xcountry"...last year the rider fell off on every xcountry course i saw her at. should i have a word with her, or just ignore it and feel sorry for the people who buy him?

You really are torn between the right thing to do and the wrong.....I would personally not get involved hard I know...but, could come back and cause problems......let's hope she comes to her sense's and is honest to any future owners of the horse she is selling!

oh blimey wouldnt like to be put in that position!

erm well if it was just an aqaintance (sp) id be inclined to say do something about it, however, blood is thicker than water and is it really worth falling out with family over?

I'm sure if there are obvious blatant lies a prospective buyer will pick up on it

depends if you could live with yourself if the new owner had a serious accident!!, I would be having a word with auntie if it was me.

maybe have a word, perhaps just say to her take the x country bit out? but TBH its her horse and her ad and i know its bad but its up to her. xx

But would it have jumped round clear with a different rider?

Hmmm difficult one. Maybe you should have a word just to explain it may cause her problems in the future if she isn't honest now.... She won't want the new owners trying to sue her for incorrectly describing the horse!
