Long hours and lots or responsibility but I don;t know? I would want at least £20k of the promise of bonuses.

realisticly i would say around £15 p/h but as we all know the horse world dosnt pay enough money, so unrealisicly not much more than minimum wage

Hi
I did very similar job, on a similar sized centre for 3 years across 5 days (Tuesday to Saturday) but Sundays when we ran a show (which was nearly every week!) for £20k. Also got stock from shop at cost (big saving) and other horsey related benefits equating to c£800 per annum.
I was more commercially focused and didn't teach as I am not qualified. This was in the north. I know a college was advertising recently for similar role at c£23k. I would suggest as you are qualified to BHSI(SM), I would be looking to the £20-£25k, depending on area and also how intensive the events and other activities are.
Have fun though - sounds a great role :-)

Well its on a par with my HR role in a funny way as far as responsibilities, but being where it is and in the horse world would not surprise me if it was around £20k...although a fairer wage in the real world would be approx £30-35K!!! (ie not horse related).
