14.2 haflinger mare
11 years old
Has a go at anything - has hunted, done some dressage, bit of showjumping, fun rides, beach rides etc.
Good to load, clip, shoe, with vet, teeth etc.
Hacks alone and in company - good in traffic.
Currently fit and in work.
Needs experienced handler who is not afraid to be bossy on the ground - typical haffie can be bolshy but never nasty - led in a dually.
More suited to an adult or confident older teenager.
Bold mare - not brilliant at jumping but has a go - never refuses or runs out
Altogether a fun little mare.
Sound but has diastema in teeth needs dentist every 6 months but all under control!

£2,500? I might go to £3,000 if I really loved her when I tried her out. But the jumping would put me off a bit personally. Depends what you want her for I guess.

No more than £1,500. The diastema would put me off as would not being great at jumping (unless you don't jump).

The diastema might not be a problem now but it might be in the future.

she sounds just like my old mare exactly the same personality, breed, height and ability and would be about that age now (her name was Honey) we sold her a couple of years ago for £3000 but she didn't have any health issues. Hope that helps :)

Yes, a bit, I'm waiting for someone to get back to me who came to view and have 2 others waiting to view him :( it's very sad for me I've had him a long time

I have spend a fortune on J's Diastemas it must be around 8k to be honest I have stopped counting the issue is ongoing .
I would not willingly go there again .

Nor would I. Luckily mine was insured when it was diagnosed but she had 6k of dental treatment as a 10yr old and has terrible teeth as she ages and has had a lot of specialist dental care. I sold her at 15 (not knowing things would go down hill!).
