Following on from everyones post's about resonably priced horses, what would you class as resonably priced?
I recently had for sale a mare that I have now since decided to keep, opp's, But when she was advertised I was inundated with calls/emails and had 6 viewings for the period she was advertised (2 weeks), this was bearing in mind from one website!
I had someone very interested but I couldnt let her go, sp removed her from sale.
So just wondering what price you would put on her to see her price as 'resonable' she was pulled from sale 7 weeks ago, she has done plenty since but will put her as she was when advertised.
16.2hh TrakehnerxTb mare, 5 years, prof broken, then ridden away light hacking, excellent in traffic hacks alone or in company, nice conformation, a nice person to handle and has lovely floating BIG paces whilst being very attractive to the eye. She hadnt had any schooling and was green, didnt work in an outline or do anything fancy, yet!
Here is a photo taken when she was for sale she has changed alot since!

If she was prof broken I'd expect her to be working in a basic outline. If her breeding is nothing exceptional I'd say no more than £2500

She's a very nice looking mare and that is what most people notice when looking through hundreds of ads. It's the photo that catches your eye before you read about the horse. Was that the photo you used?

I agree, I think the most improtant thing when advertising is the photo that you use. I used this photo and photo's that were similar but of her ridden, and one without tack to show people what she is like.
She's a lovely mare but I would say so!!
The market has changed but only for the better in a way horses had got far to expensive, I was looking about 3 years ago for a 16hh 6-10 that had done a bit of everything, didnt want an olympic winner, was just happy for a safe horse who could carry me around local XC, SJ and do some low level dressage, the only things like that were around 7k. So in away they have come back to a reasonable price, in my opinion.
