What would you fail the vet on?

Some of these have really tickled me. We are a broken load of crocks aren’t we? Glad most of our nags are in far better shape.

Happy hacker here too. Mild KS, lame on the right hind (bruised sole?), unlevel, bit stiff, overweight and unfit. Good doer. Laminitis risk. Pretty stoic though and gets on with the job. Good attitude, but not very brave.

I always think I'm perfectly fine to pass a vetting and then I list them and its probably a fail ?. Poor vision (but corrected), TMJ from a jaw op to fix a bone infection (alright ish now). Part of my tongue missing (no problem now), extensive left knee damage from a previous crush injury (reconstructed now) and right knee tendon injuries from sport damage (reconstructed so fine now), spinal fracture that fused (alright now) and extreme flat feet (sorted with inserts).

Broken wind
Left shoulder steriod injection
Numb left leg
Every joint clicks

Behavioural issues include:
General bad temper, best kept alone.
Inclined to break into feed room when stressed, needs muzzling
Very difficult unless kept in full work
Inclined to rear and bolt after time off

Needs large red ribbon in hair at all times

SI issues for sure.

Persistent lameness issues to left leg.

Plus intermittent back issues (might get away with that one on a good day!).

I think I'm pretty unsellable, realistically.

You?

Yup, me too. That's before I even got tacked up...
Would fail on eyesight as 95% blind in right eye.
Filled fetlocks, more pronounced on one side. Xrays show severe arthritis one side.
Clicking stifle on opposing side.
Doesn't track up in walk.
Crooked through loins, needs more investigation but likely due to old injury...

I'm not going further, am field ornament....

I would definitely fail flexion tests (especially nearside hock). Also I have a pollen allergy and probably sweet itch. Would definitely need Regu-Mate!

Bilateral hind lameness, kissing spines and SI issues. I’d definitely be a field ornament but would need restricted grazing as I am a good doer ?

:D:D:D:D

Off side SI arthritis hind
Off side navicular hind/P2/3 fracture possibly nerve issue
Near side stifle hind arthritis
Off side fore shoulder issues (previous procedure to sever tendons and denerve area)
Cervical issues
HInd gut problems
Possible eyesight problems?
Wobblers?
Behavioural issues (tried regumate)
CS: 5+ a few sugar cubes
Perfectly pickled especially on sundays.
Teeth: perfect

p.s. over the insurable age and only rideable on wednesdays if the moon is in aquarius.

buyer beware.

Fore limb arthritis, lumbar and hind fetlock issues. Might pass a 2 stage but i doubt it! :) A very good doer and cheap to keep though.

arthritis in both forelimbs, lame on off hind but improves with slow work although still too lame for fast work, could maybe cope with short hacks as long as current medication is topped up, a bit grumpy in the mornings until the stiffness improves..not happy with small, noisy children so best keep them away...a little overweight so could do with less food and could do with being clipped at the moment!!!!

Chronic Achilles tendinitis has me with a puffy left hock (ankle), and I'm pretty sure theres something going on higher up, saccro iliac maybe, or maybe some other hip/pelvis issues. They were very unlevel for years and are clunky at the best of times now
