I was thinking the other day; all horse owners should be x-rayed after death to see how many bones (mostly toes) were actually broken vs how many they thought they’d broken.
This thought followed being trodden on again. (Foot still hurts 2 weeks later, I’d be surprised if anything was broken but I think he hit the little toe joint which is the bit that’s still tender)
