What would you have done???

Took friends and my horse in lorry (40min drive) to the Heath for a hack this morning. Unloaded horses, went to tack up and found I had forgotten my girth (spare girth that is kept in lorry was not there either as I didn't put I back after I had cleaned it)!!!.

Well I rode bareback and had a lovely hack (felt about 13yrs old again), now off for a hot bath as fear I may feel 113yrs by morning!!!!

Depends which horse I had. If Hattie I would of hacked bareback. If Gyp I would of rang to see if someone would bring it up, if not then lead him round with the other horse.

- get spare girth out of living area that I always keep in there.
- improvise a girth out of baling twine, leadrope and duct tape!

As stated above my spare girth wasn't in the lorry as I hadn't put it back!!!

LOL with my DIY skills, I was safer bareback!!!

I would have gone bareback because I have a lovely flat backed cob but there are plenty of horses I wouldn't ride bareback

Bareback, i love riding bareback its the best feeling in the world. For me when ever i ride bareback i feel at one with the horse underneith me...

It depends on what type of hack!

I ride bareback quite alot but hacking out in company I would only want to walk or trot else I reckon I would get bucked off lol
