Just interested in what you think you would pay for this horse.

15.2, 7, t'bred, chestnut mare. Wetherby's reg but never raced. Many different owners so history is a bit clouded, but doesn't seem to have done anything competition wise, apart from a couple of BSJA on a ticket. Very quiet, excellent to hack out, canter in big fields, heavy traffic. Very quiet to handle. Lovely jump and nice paces. Flatwork needs working on.

First thing I think I'd pick up on is, if she's as good as her description, why so many owners? She's beautiful though, and if there was nothing more sinister in her many-ownership that just odd circumstances then I'd expect to see her going for £4k+ (or probably even £5k+).

I was just interested in how much people thought she might be worth with the current credit crunch and horse selling market. Always interesting to see what prices people think horses are worth as a potential project horse...

£2500 if you're selling due to lack of competition experience and current dodgy market etc, although I would pay more as I have a thing for chestnut Tb mares

She was bred and broken on a small stud, when to Harvey Smith for P2P training, then to someone else who did nothing with her, then to a girl who hasn't done much as she's a complete novice to riding and owning horses and selling due to relocation.

Looks lovely, but TB's dont seem to be selling well ATM. I would have thought, if he jumps well, around £3k.

I agree with that, tbh most TBs out of racing are given away, rather than go to the expense of transporting them to sale, where they might only fetch enough to cover the transport cost. She does look a poppet though if not worth a mint!

3k, tho if you were to sell Id try get a pic of her jumping BSJA on a ticket rather than a small xpole

[/ QUOTE ] I don't agree, I'm looking for an exracer my self, have a butchers on horsequest under ex racers - you'd be surpised!

I think £3500 and accept £3000. : ) If she had abit more competition record, jumping bit more established and show protential for eventing - you'd be laughing.
