Dont want to post a picture but will pm it to anyone who wants to see.

I might be getting this horse, shes 5 coming up 6, shes well bred, she has less than £100 BSJA, has been placed style performance and b.nov. She's 16hh.

What would you pay?? Need to know as might be doing a part x with them for my horse. I have got figure in my head, and i think my horse is worth 2k more. So what do you think?

Difficult to say without seeing a piccie or the horse actually move....but i just posted a link to something that 'could' be very similar and it was up for £8k

I think at least £8 - 10K

£100 at that age is very good.

Depends what its paces are like etc too and if is well behaved hacking, shoeing etc etc

AmyMay- we are might be doing a swap, so they would owe me money.

I have is record and has not won anything since 24jun 06. so would need to now why not.

Yes i think shes worth about that, would have to see if they would be prepaired to pay the extra for mine.

Here's his info;
16,3hh, 8yrs, jumped 1.20/1.30-BSJA £500,
What do you think he's worth?

exactly , why would a dealer sell a cheaper horse and then buy a dearer one ? Dealers are always in it to make money ... you will never get what you want from a dealer .

Why are you selling your current horse ?

Where do you think dealers get their stock from

Agreed they won't pay the 'top' price for something they're buying in, but they will p/ex upwards if the horse has profit in it...

Im just saying , probably be prepared to haggle cause thats what dealers will do .

colleenISHmissy; Because he's too big. (he's 16.3hh and im 5"1!!)

ahh I see Short arse like myself :P ( im slightly taller 2 inchs taller :P )

I certainly wouldn't pay over £8k for a horse who had under £100 BSJA. For a horse turning 6, I dont think under £100 is particularily good. Of course, it does depend on how many outings this horse has had though! I guess it does depend on HOW well bred the horse is, its paces, scope etc. Basically what sort of quality! But just from the tiny snippet you've said, I pay no more than £4k - but then I always buy cheap ass horses to make them my own!!
