15hh 5yrs Registered Welsh Sec d (good bloodlines I think)

Broken and learnt the basics.

Mainly hacked out in company, has not yet been hacked out alone. Good in light traffic (don't think there's much heavy traffic in the area).

Very good temperament, owner cannot fault his manners.

He has done some polework but hasn't actually jumped a cross pole yet. Although he has jumped some small ditches when out hacking.

Doesn't come with any tack.

I won't tell you how much he is yet. Just want to get an idea from you lot, as I think he's a bit overpriced.

Is it defamatory if I post a pic of him from the advert?

I'd say nearer to £1500 but it depends on his bloodlines, looks and action.

I agree with others - up to £2000 - maybe more for exceptional breeding/quality.

I don't think putting a picture on here would be defamatory - everyone could say he is well worth it once they saw him for all you know!

Hello

friend just sold a sec D 15.2 five yrs - sounds the same type has nebo lines which is very good - was proven in heavy traffic mind but they have got 3k with fieldhouse saddle and bridle.

Very dependent on conformation, from£1,500.00 if pretty much average, other extreme being Olympia potential then worth £5,000.00 plus!

I think they may get it - but I wouldnt pay that for him unless he came with a full wardrobe and I could see him hacked out on his own sucesfully.

Will make a great allrounder tho - would easy be worth that with a summers worth of work under his girth. stunning dapples!

Hmm looks pretty average from the photos and I assume that if he was a flashy mover they would have included one of him moving. Depends what you want him for really.

Doesn't look anything special to me, but would probably make a nice fun all rounder. I agree that they probably would get what they are asking

Looks generally well put together but seems a lot of money by those pics! I paid £1800 for a freshly backed 4yro last year who is a nice allrounder type, so if he is a bit older and a bit showier he'll be worth more than that - £2500 seems a sensible max if you're keen on him.
