For a 16.1hh gelding. Rising 5.

Basically been backed and done walk trot canter - but basic. Has seen a few fences, been hacked out about 3 times and originally brought from a dealer. Has never been to a comp. And can not stay in a consistent contact - bred to event.

Your thoughts???

Mmm Don't know really.

Would probably be keen to know why he's been so slow to start before being able to make a guess.

However, if this is something that you are looking to buy what are they asking?

How is he bred? Probably up to £3k for general horse if for set discipline then that all varies depending on paces, jump etc

He has been slow to start as the lady that brought him has lost her nerve so has only ridden him about 3 times since she has had him.

Im glad someone said £3K

Is he well put together, good confirmation, nice temp? any vices.
Hes obviously not dont a lot, but what he has done has he progressed quickly?
Is he breeding known?
Blemished?

If hes has a bit of a clean sheet, and is working nicely etc i would say around £4000-£6000

In that case I'd be after a bargin - if I could get it - and would offer 2k, which may be an insult. But she may want him shifted quickly.

He is a clean sheet - but is a bit behind now - and doesnt even work in to a consistent contact - he has seen nothing! Just done a bit of lunching schooling.

And doesnt even have known breeding. Has no vices or blemishes though.

Hasnt got bad conf but not great

That changes everything then. Would def say around £3k

No it hasnt its her other horse that has made her loose her confidence.

And this spooked and she fell off and wont ride it anymore
