I'm going to start taking liverys at my yard again after 6 years. I'm not sure what the going rate is. We have exellent facilitys.
Post and rail all year turnout,
60 x 30 arena
SJ and XC fences
Horsewalker with rubber floor

Large rubber matted stables with full easibed beds

I'm not doing diy, full and part only.
Based in n yorks and instruction avalible.
qual staff

Could anyone give some ideas to how much they pay or would be prepared to pay for this kind of livery?

Qualified staff.

£500 per month?????
I could be way off as i cant see me ever being able to afford full livery but the facilities are very good-but i suppose £500 is more southern prices! livery is quite cheap in lincs/yorks area i think!

We're based in Cheshire, on the yard of a BSJA course builder, only 11 stables, almost identical facilities to yours (60x40 arena, rubbered horse walker, rubber matted stables, full set of BSJA fences etc etc), but with limited winter turnout. We are on DIY at £25 per week for the box, but her full livery rate (excl. riding) is £80/week, including Haylage, bedding and feed. However, I think this is cheap for round here (but then Cheshire is an expensive area) and £90-95 per week is more typical, although you may struggle to achive that in Yorks.

Can I move to you.
It sounds lovely!
Friend pays £400 a month for full livery with simlilar facilities to yours but I don't think ker horse is ridden though.

Our yard doesnt have a horse walker or rubber matting, but it does have an indoor school. Everything else is pretty much the same. I think full livery is £80pw, & part is £60; not entirely sure it could have gone-up.

Hello

I am in west yorkshire at a very good yard an they charge £70 per week for full for a pony and £90 for a horse - that includes everything barring your arena hire which is another 18 per week on top

The yard down the road which is another top exlusive yard charge £70 for full for horse or pony or £90 which includes tack clean and grooming - £100 for all of the said and two half hour schooling sessions - we are about 10 mins from the north yorjshire border - skipton so these should be acurate - dont know anyone who does part around here thats decent but is about 45 per week

Thanks

Well i am down south and although prices might be slightly different down here when i was looking for full livery (just jobs, no riding or tack cleaning involved) i was looking at around £80-£95 per week for yards with half the facilities you have!!!

Dred to think what the prices would be like down here with facilities like that

I stuck to DIY after that LOL

In Somerset (which I think is similar price to N.Yorks) my yard has indoor and outdoor but restricted winter T/O and the XC can't be used because it is too ramshackle

We charge £70 p/week full livery including straw/haylage etc then extra for using the walker or riding.

I would think you could probably charge 80 or 90 if your set-up was really smart looking and organised.

i am in Leicestershire and Ive paid £75pw full but only includes manky haylage, bedding, turn out bring in etc and cheap mix. I know a place that does part livery - which was virtually the same thing but £60 per week. They didnt have very good facilities though, although the hacking was excellent. I think for a good yard I'd expect to pay up to £100pw if it included exercise.

I pay £250 PCM for Part, They turn out Mon - Fri, Provide Hay and Hard Feed and Muck out Mon to Fri all year turn out, out door school no horse walker etc think it is £390 PCM for full im down south a bit if that helps any
