what would you say about her conformation?

is she a gd shape or bad? straight legs bent legs, short back, long back?

Ok - I'm an amateur and never normally brave enough to comment on these, but I thought I'd give it a go.....

Firstly - nice mare!

Then, I'd like to say how different photos show different things and we need to be so careful. In first photo I'd say she was a little long in the back, her shoulder a little straight and her feet seem a little upright. The second photo seems to suggest that her neck is a little thick set and her quarters and thigh weak, again with quite upright pasterns and feet.

As this is the first time I've ever commented on anything like this, please do not take my opinions as anything other than speculation, but I'm very interested to read what other people may say.

And then I'll say again.......nice mare!
 
She's beautiful :)

I second Bedlam in that she looks a bit long in the back and her neck is a bit thick. she looks like she's built uphill which is nice because she may not be naturally heavy in the forehand. I think that building up some muscle in her rump will make it a bit bigger and make her look more even. Overall she's very nice
 
both ur comments are really interesting as she does look really good in dressage because she moves up hill and i taught she had a long back to.

just wondering on that point if anyone can guess how old she is? i know and will tell
 
I like her :)

She is a little thick through the gullet and her hindleg is a bit straight.

I think she actually has nice lower limbs and feet and wouldn't say she is upright (but her feet do look like they need re-doing).

Her back is a touch long but imo looks worse due to her markings (particularly in the second photo).

She is lovely though and has a beautiful head.
 
Im not good with conformation, but the only thing wrong with her that I can see, is her large amounts of white... One of mine is the same, and I HATE! it! lol

I recon she is about 12?

well im glad everyone thinks shes young. shes 14

in the 2nd pic she looks uphill which is good :)
but i would prefer a horse with a more defined croup.
i dont find her back too long to be weak but it is
longer than something i would like (i like SUPER short backed horses
so dont mind me ;P )
nice feet,
i only find the pasterns in the front too upright, the back seems fine.
VERY nice length in canon bone.

and pretty markings :)
 
ive only had her since may and i found her in a riding school and i love her to pieces and as always with mares she likes me most days:p
