So what would you say the "in" colour and breed of a horse/pony is at the moment?

Meaning the most popular colour and breed of horses people want?

Sorry if i don't make sense....

But i was just wondering.

warmblood or a part-native!

and grey or a coloured!

(still prefer traditional tb and a nice bay colour

I think that coloured are still the 'in' colour and grey is coming back. Not sure about breeds though.

I agree with coloureds and greys being "in". As for breeds, probably warmbloods, IDs, ID Xs, and Iberians (Andalusians and Lusitanos) are quite "big" at the moment.
Personally I don't care what colour a horse is (well if I had a choice between two identical horses, one grey and one bay, I'd go for the bay!) but I am quite taken by the warmbloods, IDs and Iberians (ooooh I'm such a sheep!). I like anything chunky though which explains the warmbloods and IDs (and I have an ID X), and I'd love a nice "proper" chunky Andalusian!

I think coloureds (not because I have one - lol

) but you definitely pay more for a coloured. You could have 2 identical horses, 1 bay and 1 piebald and the piebald would go for more - it's silly. I want them to drop in price so I can have another!

Breeds - warmbloods and ISH's, and cobs seem quite popular
Colour - coloureds and greys

I personally like TBx and natives, and blacks and chestnuts although I don't mind really.

Warmbloods and ISH's definitely. Colour-wise, I just dont get it. Who cares what colour a horse is? It seems to be coloureds at the moment but then again it only seems 10 minutes when they were looked down on with a vengeance. I'm kicking myself, knew a stunning piebald cob a few years back, only 2 years old but the most fantastic paces and outline, could have bought him for peanuts from the local dodgy horsemeat breeder but didn't...he's be worth a bomb now.

Gosh - maybe I should should sell stroppy knickers! (15.2 grey irish connie x with attitude) - Based on this post they'd be queuing up to buy her! (only kidding, wouldn't part with her)

Am I the only one who thinks coloureds are...well...common, typically with upright shoulders, ugly heads, upright pasterns and a straight back leg?
I've noticed the BYEH judges laughing at them....
