What your wednesday horsey plans?

Ditto, try and catch my neddy and do some schooling again. Just mastered walk-canters right now and trying toplay around with flying changes :)

Well I've been down my field hours, trying to fix the electric fence that my annoying horse broke and bent the polls, by pushing one of the other horses though it, I then went for a ride, to here one of them chaseing another horse so came back, tried to do a bit of lunging, then went to wipe down my other horse, taught my other horse some flipping manners then fed them.

Just feeding him and checking him over, possibly watching some others ride in the paddock and keep reminding myself that this time next year I can do that too, stop getting jealous... LOL! :D

Had my horsey fix this morning!

Took my favourite boy round Hyde Park in the glorious 7am sunshine! Fantastic, the other horse was supposed to be on limited exercise but was so strong and quick that I had some nice steady canter next to his "lively" trot, which was nice for me as when I ride him in a group canter he thinks its a race and pull smy arms out so I enjoyed the steadier pace! He was also a little star when the other horse was spooking and bravely led the way home :D :D

It's Miri's turn to be ridden tonight (have 3 to ride, but even with these light evenings, work has been so busy recently that I still only have time to ride one if I'm lucky). So, it'll be about 1/2 hour's schooling in the back field, then poo-picking until it's too dark to see any more.

I rode this morning, a schooling session trying to get my boy more round and actually using his rear end. Ive mucked out ect already so i will go down tonight bring him in have a nice groom/bonding session and then put him to bed.

First of all bring sh*tbag in for his evening feed and do his feet.

While he's attacking his snap between looking over his stable door to check out whats going on in the yard, I'll bring baggage in, groom her/tack up.

Put him back and go for a evening hack with baggage, I think a few of us are hacking out this evening so no doubt we'll be having some canters on the stewardships and she'll do her usual spooks at the ducks flying out of the ditches and my friend will start having a nervous breakdown depsite being on cob that doesnt batter an eye lid, other will be on wappy TB will which probably freak out at exactly the same things, we use the cob as buffer, on each side :D

I'm having a lesson tonight, flatwork, and if we carry on where we left off last time probably working the counter canter.

Oh and I might put a cheeky offer in for the mare I saw yesterday....... :D :D :D

i went for a lovely hack this morning, my big lad was an absolute star even when the horse we were out with decided to have a major spook at a lady shovelling things into a wheelbarrow (like shes never seen that before), we had a nice wander through the woods and a little bit of road work

Horse has been worked all week and I'm working late so today is a well deserved day off, my sister went and got her in for me so I just have to muck out and feed and look foward to riding tomorrow :)

Going to see Cochise tonight. Going to do a few in hand trot trasitions to get him used to the command. Then we'l got for a 3 mile hack, and hopfully do another wee canter ( did his first ever yesterday!) :D

I managed to do 2 days poo picking today as having a bad back I wasn't up to doing it yesterday. I then brought Candyman in and took him out for a nice hours hack on his own. I am still building his confidence hacking alone and today was great. He did have a bit of a close shave with a car that came past as he spooked at a banner hanging up on one of the pubs we went past but didn't batter an eyelid at the usual spooky drain covers and road markings that he normally passes on the opposite side of the road or jumps. He even coped with another pub having their empty barrels collected noisily to the side of us and managed a sedate jog past the scary swing park that usually results in him trying to spin and bolt in the opposite direction when hacking alone. I was very pleased with him today. Kia came in and had a good groom as she is losing so much of her fluffy winter coat now.She was good today and allowed me to pick out her back feet without too much barginess or trying to kick my head in,had a feed and then they both went back into the paddock to chill out for the day.
