Whatever happened to Mollichop?

I used to feed it about 15 years ago - came back into horsey world and it had gone!

Think it's much nicer for them (seems tastier) but perhaps it affects those that have a sugar intolerance as it really is coated in molasses!

We can get it at our feed merchants, our YO uses it for horses that he only wants to feed cheeply! Ones that dont get ridden or dont have intolerances

Have to say it smells YUMMY, but would probably send my boy wappy!
xx

I wondered that to vicstress you just dont hear of it any more- my gelding used to love it -and i dont see the point in feeding fancy stuff if you horse goes well on the basics!

Used to feed in my younger days, can still get it now from our feed store but my mare finds it a bit hard going and as she's grey it makes her face all brown and sticky!!

Yes I used to use it too. Had a 5 yr break from horses, years ago now, finally got a new horse and went to feed merchants and was asked did I want any dengi????? Didnt have a clue what it was so embarrassedly said oh yes. Never seen mollichop since.
