Franke Sloothaak? Many moons ago when I lived and breathed sj, he was always on the circuit. For the past couple of years the bits I has seen on the telly there is never any mention of him at all.
Whatever happened to.........(this kept me awake last night!!)

Funnily enough I was sorting out some of my stuff last night (I have just moved house and there's just piles of rubbish to be looked through everywhere!) and I found some old Olympia brochures. One had a feature on Franke and the same thought crossed my mind.
Where did he go?

I think it looks like his wife and son and daughter. He must be mid 40's??

I saw him on TV( think it was last year ) , riding at Olympia .
Felt a bit sorry for him , as I can remember back in the 1980's , he would have all the teenage girls swooning over him.
He's still handsome ( imo ! ) , but the teenagers are all grown up now . Come to think of , I used to be able to attract admiring glances way back when
Not sure how old he is though .

Remember his haircut when he first arrived on the scene ? I'm pretty sure he had just come out of doing National Service in Belgium ( ?)
