Bear the Border has just informed me he's *ahem* lost:eek: his Kong Wubba!

Hell! He's had OH and I scour the house from top to bottom, looking for the smelly, ragged thing. Bear's hopeless at looking for things when he's mislaid them, but this time he's like a headless chicken - round and round in ever decreasing circles..........:rolleyes:;)

Without his Squeaker, what's a poor, poor dog to do?:confused:

Sorry, completely pointless post. But the little b***er is driving us maaaaad!:o
 
Just conducted another search, but to no avail.........:(:mad::mad:

I've come to the conclusion that OH let Bear outside with it today when I went to work ..........Can't turn my back for five minutes with these two! :mad:

If Bear thinks I'm going outside now at this time of night, in the chilly coldness, he's got another one coming! He's just going to have to wait 'till morning. Hopefully the thieving little minx that is Xenia, his 'bessie mate' won't have got to it first.........:rolleyes::D
 
Just a wee update - searched high and low outside this morning, and still no Squeaker..........:(:( He's like a lost soul without it! :rolleyes: I'm of the firm opinion Xenia sneaked in sometime yesterday afternoon and leggged it back home with it - she's got previous for this, I'm afraid! :eek: We'll have to wait now till Xenia's hoomins come home for lunch and ask them if she's nicked it!

Ooooh, MrV! Bear can't waaaait that long! Crimbo is weeks off yet, and I can't handle the sad-faced, 'where's it gone?' expression.........:confused::( He's such a numpty - he couldn't find his way out of a paper bag, let alone a lost toy! :rolleyes::D
 
Tracking device - BRILLIANT! I thought of a whistle thing like they used to put on car keys!

How about buying a back up???

Our Saffie has a thing for tennis balls - much cheaper but we do tend to fidn them in the fields, or even under kitchen cupboards.

Poor Bear, I hope it turns up really soon.........

Flippin' thing is still missing, so :mad: But Bear is still moping, so :( :rolleyes::D

Xenia has been exonerated - neighbours scoured their place to but no result. OH is convinced 'It's here somewhere!' Jeez! If I had a fiver for everytime I've heard him say that down the years...................:eek:

So OH will carry out one of his searches tomorrow, and if he finds it, well, Bear, at least, will be overjoyed! If it remains lost, then I daresay it's odd on he'll have a new one, sooner rather than later!

snoopyinfrance - I won't let Bear have tennis balls, as our old BT used to shave them, and I'm sure the ingested 'fluff' contributed to his early demise - liver and stomach tumors........:(:(

But I'm seriously impressed by the idea of a tracking device ...........:cool:
