whats best for showing a bX id for tails, pulling or plaiting??

i cannot decide what to do with my tbx mare i think she has a bum that would suit a pulled tail but i dont want to pull it and not be able to plait, if i do plait what do i do when i get the end tuck it right up or leave it?? confussed

I personally don't like pulled tails. So mine get theirs left alone and then plaited up if they are off out. When I get to the end of the plait I sew up the end, then fold it back on itself and secure it with plaiting thread.

it depends what classes you are going in really - i think pulled looks neater and shows off the bum better - def pulled if hunter etc classes - plaited tails are more for ponies imho...

All ours use a tail rake instead of being pulled though....much nicer and same finish!
