Im off to our yard xmas party tonight which im looking forward to! then tomorrow i will go for a hack with my hairy beast and visit the gym for a sit in the jaccuzi and sauna then possibly go out for a meal with my OH. Sunday i am going to grab the duvet, sit on the sofa and watch films all day whilst sipping hot vimto and eating naughty stuff before braving the cold to go feed hairy beast at tea time :P

2 weeks today is xmas day!

Tonight i'm doing nothing at all, i have been having problems with my teeth so im going to stay in in front of a warm fire with the cat instead of going out getting rat arsed! Saturday i will be up bright and early to feed 11 horses, clip 1 and then off to pick up my new saddle then go into Manchester for some shopping and food with friends. Sunday i will spend all day riding and shoveling sh!te.
 
Today is hopefully going to consist of uni work and writing letters (mainly complaint letters

) then tomorrow *hopefully* my saddle fitter is bringing some more saddles over for me to try out and I will hopefully hear back about a companion/project pony that I am going to take on. If both fall through then I will start hacking my boy out this weekend and let the new one settle in and start working on her early next week. I am very excited providing it all work out *crosses fingers*

Tomorrow i'm having a flat lesson as horse not ready to jump from an injury in Jan we start jumping
Watch sister jump lesson and friends jump lesson and be very jealous.
Then x-mas shopping for my last present. Sunday a nice long hack and put up decorations (sp?)

sat - OH's bday shoot (i'm beating)
sat - night big dinner party
sun - riding lesson at 9am - WTF posessed me to book a lesson at 9am on a sunday when i have 4 guests staying???

Well me and Flash will be playing tonight... maybe some loose schooling to give us both a bit of a chill.

Then Sunday i will ride again in the morning (was planning a ODE but got my dates mixed up so i cant go because i will be at my Goddaughter (and niece in law to be) 1st birthday party!

Then back to work on monday... booo

Next week will be fun tho... we have a Christmas Parade in a village near us.. so cue lots of horses and riders wearing tinsel and singing carols while riding round the local street!
If its anything like last year i will be at the back able to achive either no movement at all or a sideways canter the whole way round... with Flashy's dele-bopper antlers wobbling around constantly!

), then teaching this evening. Tomorrow will do something with the pony, either school or hack, then on Sunday it's the yard Christmas fun ride, so will be dressing ourselves up and off we'll go!
 
Two parties tonight (urgh) then dressage tomorrow, followed by X factor final on Saturday, followed by ANOTHER dressage competition on Sunday.

Just got Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince so will flake out with a glass (or several) of Red in front of that tonight with OH.

Tomorrow morn, go for a hack and reclip pone. Out for a 30th birthday tom night and on Sun, do 'something' with pone - the 'what' to be determined by degree of hangover and then he's being freezemarked.
 
well missed works xmas do last night that cost 50 quid a ticket! and this weekend i will be mostly sitting on the sofa with leg in a cast mmmmmmmmmmmph
 
Off to look at a horse two hours away and got to be there at 8.30

I'm working all weekend at the yard, but I'm also competing tomorrow as we are running a Dressage Competition at work and I'm allowed to compete so it's all good!

Saturday - finish getting my stables ready for other 2 horses to come in on Sunday night (other one already in), help OH put up floodlights on yard (at last!), get home in time for XFactor!

Sunday - xmas jumping show in afternoon prob as will be really busy no doubt, but gives me the morning to clean up filthy grey mare! Then settle all the horses indoors for the start of their winter, and hopefully home in time for XFactor Final!!

Only 2 nights at work next week then off until 5th Jan - hurray!
 
I was going for a lesson on Sunday but my instructor has just cancelled. Never mind, i am going for a long hack tomorrow with a friend from the yard and we have our yard party on Sunday eve, can't wait!
 
Friday - Late night opening at tack shop so dropped in and purchased double broken lozenge snaffle bit (whilst trying to prevent OH from seeing the 79 euro price tag!)

Saturday - Off too look at the second hand tack store to see if I can find some longer reins (all the manufacturers make a longer warmblood length but in this land of the Warmblood does anyone stock them nope!) Lesson at 1pm then hang out chatting for a couple of hours at the yard on the pretext that I have soo much to do there but in reality it will be coffee, chat fag, repeat

Sunday - off for a ride out with Manon for an hour she is taking me on the ride that goes through the grounds of the local mental hospital...lovely ride apparantly but you run the risk of people running up and wanting to cuddle the horses....all part of getting Vardi used to the great outdoors.

In between shopping cooking for the week and freezing it down so I don't feel guilty about abandoning the OH 3 nights a week to go see ponio.
